Studying Czech at AIT

Our Czech lessons encourage regular, practical use of your new language skills, so that you become more confident when communicating. Courses are conducted by well-trained, native or native-fluent instructors, who use proven methods and materials. As much as possible, lessons are taught only in Czech. Classroom activities are designed to keep you motivated, and may include drills, dialogue practice, role-plays, discussions, and other enjoyable exercises.

Conversation 1

In this 24-lesson course,
you will learn to:
Introduce yourself and greet others; Name people, food, clothing, colors; Describe current actions; Respond to yes/no questions; Count 1-10

you will learn to:
Name animals, common objects, shapes, body parts; Describe current actions; Make simple comparisons; Use affirmative/negative sentences; Describe position

We can dispatch a qualified Czech teacher to conduct lessons at your company, office, school, or other location—which can save you substantial time and commuting costs—or lessons can be conducted at the AIT Foreign Language Center in Futakotamagawa, Tokyo. Our custom course schedules allow you to schedule your lessons whenever you like.

Our teachers are outgoing, friendly, and flexible, and have a variety of life and work experience. Most of our teachers are bilingual, so they understand the challenges of learning a new language and can use that experience to help you succeed. Most teachers speak English, so they can assist you when necessary.

Welcome to AIT Foreign Language Center


We are open 7 days a week, including holidays (closed on New Year's Day). You may schedule your lessons between the hours of 9:00 and 21:00, Monday through Friday, and between the hours of 9:00 and 18:00 on Saturday, Sundays, and holidays. For lessons that fall outside those hours, add ¥1,000 per hour.


Friendly, bilingual staff is always available to answer your questions and assist when necessary. Feel free to drop by our office, or contact us by phone, fax, or email.


Our quiet, well-equipped classrooms are located in beautiful Futakotamagawa, Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, next to Tamagawa Takashimaya Shopping Center. We are just 5 minutes from Futakotamagawa Station, with easy access on the Tokyu Denentoshi Line (from Shibuya or Chuo-Rinkan) and the Oimachi Line (from Jiyugaoka). Free WIFI is available at our classroom building.
