Employment
AIT has an international staff of friendly and professional office, sales, and teaching personnel. If you are a well-qualified, enthusiastic person, we would like to hear from you.
We offer our teaching staff full or part-time one-year contracts, with free training, competitive salary, commuting allowance, and profit sharing. In addition, full time contracts include a minimum annual guarantee, paid leave, and a health insurance contribution. Teachers need a university degree and a proper visa which permits work in Japan – such as a working, working holiday, student, or spouse visa. We do not sponsor people for visas. Although we do not generally hire from overseas, please contact us regarding vacancies if you are planning to come to Japan.
AIT offers part-time contracts to interpreters and translators on an as-needed basis. Rates are competitive, and translation work can often be done remotely through mail, fax, or email.
